Description of Events
Cow Paddie Bingo:
Sunday, April 5th 2:00pm-5:00pm
Soccer Practice Fields, SRU Campus
We will be trying to raise the most money through this event for our project of 2009, the New Orleans Relief Effort. We will be setting up a 55x55 yard pen on the soccer practice fields on the SRU campus. We will then mark off 1x1 yard squares in the pen, making a total of 3,025 squares. The group is responsible for selling all 3,025 tickets for $5 each. On the day of the event, each ticket sold will be assigned to a 1x1 yard square. Wherever the cow leaves its 1st, 2nd and 3rd paddies will determine who wins the Grand Prize of $4,000, Second Prize of $1,000, or Third Prize of $500. We are also going to make this event a carnival like atmosphere in an attempt to bring SRU students and the Slippery Rock community together. There will be at least 2 bands playing very good music and carnival games around the practice fields so that everyone who comes can have a fun and enjoyable time!
